1. Pitbull feat. John Ryan - "Fireball"
I feel like Pitbull was trying here. The song is different production than his standard dance pop mush. I feel song beat actually has energy in it unlike "Wild Wild Love" where that song goes nowhere. Pitbull raps are standard, but he always seems punch out at the right moment when I am about to get sick of him. John Ryan chorus and vocals are pretty good here too.
2. "Hideaway" - Kiesza
Despite the faults the song has and were outline in the review I still feel this was a good song. Kiesza seems to be building her name up in the dance music world with Jack U.
3. "Waves" - Mr. Probz (Robin Schulz Remix Edit)
I like the chill nature of the production here. For a dance song that provokes relaxation this is new ground on pop music. While I like Robin Schulz adding bass and drums here, the only thing I didn't care for is Mr. Probz voice. It is in a similar vein as Aloe Blacc.
4. "Come With Me Now" - Kongos
This was truly the only rock song to hit the top 40 this year, and it was pretty good one. I enjoy the "wooahs" and the harmonicas in the background. The best driving song when you need to make a dangerous move on the road. This might be a forgotten song on a lot of people's list, and it is a shame.
