1. "Can't Remember To Forget You" - Shakira feat. Rihanna
Remember this song? I did not. Besides the way too long title for a pop song , it felt dated in production. I think Rihanna would had prefer to be on Timber compare to this misfire of a single. She was originally offer the part.
2. "Wasted" - Tiesto feat Matthew Koma
Still bad when I reviewed it, and sadly missed the countdown due to missing the billboard year end chart. I'll blame this song on the fall of pop edm of 2014. Tiesto is still team white boy wasted.
3. MKTO - "Classic"
I actually originally like this song, but it soured on me incredibly quickly. Taking Jason Derulo approach song writing by dropping random famous celebrities is a sure fire to a hit song. When ask about making ,"Classic" MKTO wanted to make the sound classic. I don't really hear it. It sounds like any other pop songs in the 2010s.
4. Nicki Minaj - "Anaconda"
This song hook got stucked in my head after I reviewed it. The song is still bad but I am less mean to it than when I reviewed it. You can say I built a relationship to it.
5. Young Thug - "Stoner"
If anyone still thinks hip hop is bad , they probably meant songs like this. Working on your rhymes and voice, Young Thug. Maybe get a new rap name too.
6. Bobby Schmurda - "Hot Boy"
There was this song on the hip hop format in late 2014. I don't get it. The guy is whack, and the beat is pretty generic. He is going to be a ever growing list of hip hop artists of dance craze single. They never get a second hit. Remember the dougie, the nae nae, the cat daddy guys? Of course you don't.
Part 2 coming soon.
